Aids in the 80's

I do not think The U.S. handled the AIDS epidemic in the 1980's well at all. With the resources we have in this country there is no plausible reason it should have been ignored like it was. The word should have been spread, treatments should have been worked on more, and it should have been ignored. It shouldn't take famous people getting it to make people aware of it. I think the U.S. handled it way worse than other country because we did not even go near utilizing the resources we have to use.

  1. I dont think the US handled the AIDS situation the way they should have either. I think that if they were to put out legit information while it was spreading, then maybe more people could be informed and the risks could have been lower than they were when the first discovered it.
